I would die for the sake of children, especially to free children from forms of slavery.
I would die for freedom, and i believe in living with freedom rather than safety.

A quote by Marriane Williamson attributed to Nelson Mandela
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

"The Unexamined Life is not Worth Living"
The best way i can interpret this statement with an example. I have a friend who is the sweetest funniest thing and is kind and accepting of anyone. She's such an upbeat kid and i adore her but she's always happy. I didn't truly understand what this meant until I tried asking for advice on some problems during a sleepover. Even as i spoke she blurted out general advice that made no sense to anything and just kept smiling. I must admit after about five minutes of this i proceeded to get angry at her. Why wasn't she listening to me or trying? She was listening but i discovered that my friend lives with blinders on. She ignores emotions that aren't joy and can no longer understand them.
My friend never examined her life, and therefore never gave it meaning. This also happened to cause her to have the emotional range of a teaspoon.
My friend thinks life is better when you're just happy and don't think about it. For her perhaps it is. I need something more than that. Life for me isn't good unless i struggle for it a little. Life is like fishing in that way; if the fish simply jump into the boat it would become tiring very easily. the catch isn't just about the size but about how hard you fought for it.
I examine my life far too much and yes sometimes it depresses me, but unless i'm so down i can't even move anymore i think it's worth it. Our lives are like really good books where your favorite characters can actually win based just on what you do or your advice. I beleive in being the main character of my life and i wouldn't be a very good lead if i didn't know what the story was about.

Artic's Religion
I belong to a rather small religion knows as Universalist Uniterian. We're Basically a big mix of everything, core concepts and not much fluff.
We beleive in heaven but it isn't a permanent ending. Heaven is like a rest stop on a road, it's nice and beautiful but there's no adventure in constant perfection. In heaven we reflect on who we were in our past life and who we plan to be in the next life. Yes, we beleive in planned reincarnation and that life is merely an experience, a game of meaning to our souls.
The best way i can explain this is with video games, specifically Sims. The goal of The Sims is to experience a false life where you can do anything and be anything without deeper consequences. In my religion our bodies are the sims, our lives are the games, and our souls which are long lasting, eternal, untouchable; are the players.
If you've ever played The Sims you'll know that a perfect life is a boring life. The fun of playing isn't the win of having everything you want but in the satisfaction of fighting the forces and winning as long as you're smart about it and work hard. That's why people suffer and lose, because you have to in order to know when you win. Sometimes your soul does chose to lose completely so that they can understand what it feels like.
