I would die for the sake of children, especially to free children from forms of slavery.
I would die for freedom, and i believe in living with freedom rather than safety.
those are both great causes to die for especially the one for children but couldnt you get more accomplished if you were alive and helping free the kids?
I agree, dying for someone may help them in the short run, however if your true principle is "I would die for the sake of children, especially to free children from forms of slavery." trhat wouldn't you get way more accomplished and a lot more good for these children by being alive rather than dead. Also i believe freedom is everything, however with little or no saftey i find that dfreedom is insignificant.
I don't beleive the question posed to us was "What cause would you die for but not even attempt to live for". We were asked what we would die for and i would die if it would help. That also means that in life i will do everything i can. Those who are alive and fight for a cause don't necessarily stay alive. Considering the trafficing of children is a lucrative and dangerous business those who fight and make progress are often killed. Please do not assume that simply because I would die for something, that i would not live for it also.
I agree with what Luis said. I think you would make a greater impact on the world by staying alive to keep helping the cause that is most important to you. You will a greater amount of people that way.
