Justice

The first thing to mention is that when i read the word justice i hear it in the Dark Knight batman voice.
Justice, the act of people getting what they deserve.
Rapists are raped in jail, especially the pretty ones.
Murderers stay in jail, away from society and stimulation.
Abusive parents are murdered by their psychopathic offspring, who are then seperated by society.
Those who are hurt however can never be unhurt, but we can at least stop it from recurring.
Those who do evil will eventually pay for it. Perhaps not now, perhaps not while they are alive, but it will happen.
Justice is the moral backbone of society, it keeps those who would create fear afraid, and those who would be hurt unharmed. Is it a perfect system? No, it probably never could be.

Justice in marriage is that when a man hits his wife she slits his throat in the middle of the night and leaves with the children, taking the money with her. People don't do this however, they stay victims.

Immigration isn't my call. I don't see a problem with it.

Perhaps i'm a little harsh but i don't think there is any coming back from doing something terrible. Murder is not nearly as terrible to me as rape, theft is not the crime of drug dealing, murder for profit is not murder for defense.

  1. So you don't think that the rapists and the people that do crimes don't get what the deserve by being in jail and having to live with what they've done?

  2. Seems to me that justice, in your mind, is more like revenge. If a man hits his wife, what makes it right for the wife to slit his throat? What makes it okay for children of abusive parents to lash out? No, the justice system is not a perfect system, but it could use a lot of help.

  3. I may be optomistic but i don't put much store in the guilt and regret felt by sociopaths.
Will there be some who feel guilty?
    certianly.
Then again it is those who don't feel guilt who go on to rape again and again. I don't find that a fair trade.
Giving someone the benefit of the doubt and ruining countless lives are not equal in my eyes.

  4. Wow, first off good post, made me laugh. Also, most of that post, however, with immigration i actually do care about.( Kinda hoped you would have touched on that). Could have probably left out the justice in marriage...maybe a little too far.
To me, murder is probably the worst thing you could do, rape is a close second though.

  5. Perhaps I am harsh on men who beat women. I know for certian that i am too close to the issue to make broad generalization. My aunt was beaten for years by an abusive boyfriend and she say it as femine to just take it.
Sorry for not being a gentle flower and living as a meat tenderizer, but i just won't but up with that kind of craziness.
Would i kill a husband who used me as a punching bag? Yes, without a doubt and without regret.

That path isn't for everyone however.
